The Moulton Independent School District Board of Trustees is conducting a search for a proven educational leader to serve as superintendent of schools.  Moulton is in Lavaca County located on State Highway 95 approximately half way between Flatonia on Interstate 10 and Shiner on U.S. Highway 90.  The district has approximately 285 students and 48 faculty and staff members, serving grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.  Moulton ISD offers rigorous and engaging academic, extra-curricular, and athletic programs for all students.

·         Experienced, self-motivated, visionary leader with a strong moral compass;

·         Commitment to work as an effective communicator in cooperation with the Board of Trustees to build a climate of transparency, mutual trust, and consistent enforcement of district policies;

·         Attentive to staff morale and has proven skills in building effective teams to provide for collaborative planning, problem solving and decision making;

·         A reputation of being trustworthy, accessible, ethical, and confident;

·         Desire to be actively involved in a rural community with conservative values and limited economic resources; and

·         Willingness to reside in the community and be committed to Moulton ISD for the long term.
