MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                                 
 
1.  Be dependable, punctual, well-groomed, attentive and courteous, enthusiastic, cheerful,     
and able to take directions and complete assignments.
 
2.  Perform assigned duties as requested by the supervisor.              
 
3.  Follow all district policies, rules and regulations.                                                   
                 
4.  Operate all machines in the area and acquire new knowledge and skills as necessary       
to keep updated.
 
5.  Maintain an attitude of confidentiality.                                                           
                 
6.  Take responsibility for the accuracy of assigned tasks.                       
                 
7.  Maintain office files in an organized manner.                                         
                 
8.  Answer the telephone with proper etiquette and take messages or refer the caller              
               to the proper party.
 
9.  Greet visitors and personnel in a friendly manner and provide help.

               necessary to keep updated.
 
31. Type assigned letters, reports, various lists, and memos with accuracy.                   
 
32. Maintain student organization and discipline in an assigned area.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals

Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting

Motion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; occasional reaching        

Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)

Environment: Frequent district-wide travel; occasional statewide travel

Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
