Receives, processes, and maintains files and records for grants, applications and special education programming for the district. Audits digital files for compliance with required
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Proficiency in keyboarding and file maintenance
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing
Ability to perform basis math
Ability to read, speak and understand English
Excellent organizational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Clerical and file maintenance experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Update district/campus reports to be used for compliance/monitoring/reporting purposes.
- Audit digital files and maintain spreadsheets used to track compliance.
- Inform department personnel of audit findings.
- Update district data management system.
- Respond to record requests.
- Check Medicaid eligibility on new and transfer students and update the special education system.
- Download and copy Remittance Reports weekly to Sped Secretary and Accounting Dept for verification of Medicaid deposits
- Collect and send transportation tickets monthly for processing
- Track and log OT and PT student prescription dates for billing Medicaid
- Verify SHARS portion of MAC participant list
- Assist MAC coordinator with planning MAC training session at beginning of each school year
- Complete update-training with SHARS providers for each quarter they are selected to participate in MAC
Other:
- Provide clerical assistance as needed.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
- This position will be paid with federal funds.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals; imaging equipment
Posture: Frequent walking, standing, bending/stooping, and reaching. Occasional pushing/pulling, and twisting
