Assistant Band Director
 
 
 
 
Qualifications:            
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree;
  • Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements;
  • Knowledge of curriculum, lesson planning and presentation;
  • Knowledge & skill of marching and concert band performance;
  • Computer literate;
  • Prior classroom teaching experience preferred;
  • Excellent classroom management skills;
  • Proven rapport with staff/students; and
  • Ability to organize practices and student schedules.        
 
Contract:                
10 months 
                       
Salary:                       
Board approved pay scale + Band Stipend
 
Paid Benefits:     
$500 monthly towards Medical
Full Dental, Life, Accidental Death, Long-Term Disability, Vision
